Badges and Mutt Merit

Badges are a way to track you pups progress and add style to your Scout Scarf. Each kind of badge will give your pup a different number of Mutt Merits. Once you have enough Merit to graduate ranks fill out the graduation form on the Account page.

Badge Types

  • Training

    1 Merit

    Focuses on essential obedience and skill-building, helping dogs master commands, manners, and good behavior through positive reinforcement.

  • Socialization

    3 Merits

    Encourages friendly interactions with people, other dogs, and new environments to build confidence and ensure well-mannered companionship.

  • Adventure

    3 Merits

    Celebrates outdoor exploration and physical activity, rewarding dogs for hiking, swimming, agility, and other exciting challenges.

  • Specialty

    5 Merits

    Recognizes unique skills and talents, such as therapy work, scent detection, or tricks, allowing dogs to showcase their individual strengths.
